EYEVAN began in 1972 with the concept of “eyewear you can wear.” It earned high acclaim overseas and attracted attention from around the world. The products created by the craftsmen of that era using the highest level of craftsmanship became known as the “EYEVAN CRAFT” series. In 2013, “EYEVAN 7285” was launched based on the designs and manufacturing methods of “EYEVAN CRAFT,” dismantling and reconstructing its components in pursuit of making the things they truly wanted to make.

Carrying on the craftsmanship that has continued since that time, all planning, design, and manufacturing are carried out in Japan. The brand name 7285 was strongly influenced by the products and concepts developed between EYEVAN’s founding in 1972 and its international debut in 1985. It was chosen to carry on that spirit and express respect for its origins.

A new-shape version of the 2023 AW model [349], featuring an impressive, sharply defined overall silhouette.

Inspired by eyewear from domestic brands released in the early 2000s, this series features beautifully glossy surfaces and sharply angled edges, crafted through hand polishing by artisans over five times longer than usual.

 The details include an original hinge with a 1-pin configuration and a special 10-karat gold pin. Another contemporary masterpiece has been added to the collection, created with the ideas and techniques of people living today—something not found in vintage eyewear.

The sunglasses use the original glass “EYEVAN Curve Lens,” developed with the manufacturer, including the custom color formulation.
