Founded in 1972 with the concept of “glasses to wear,” EYEVAN quickly earned high acclaim overseas and attracted attention from around the world. Among its offerings was the “EYEVAN CRAFT” series, created by artisans of the time using the highest level of craftsmanship. In 2013, EYEVAN 7285 was launched with the desire to create the things they truly wanted to make, dismantling and reconstructing components based on the design and manufacturing methods of “EYEVAN CRAFT.”

Carrying on the craftsmanship that has continued since that time, all planning, design, and manufacturing are conducted in Japan. The brand name 7285 was strongly influenced by the products and concepts from EYEVAN’s founding in 1972 through its global debut in 1985, and was chosen to carry on that spirit and express respect for its heritage.

A new-shape version of the 2023 AW model[349], featuring an impressively angular overall form.

Inspired by eyewear from domestic brands released in the early 2000s, this series features beautifully lustrous surfaces and sharply angled edges, crafted by artisans through hand-polishing that takes more than five times longer than usual.

 The details include a special specification with original hinges (1PIN design) fitted with 10-karat gold PINs. Another contemporary masterpiece has been added to the collection—created not from vintage elements, but from the ideas and techniques of people living and working today.

The sunglasses use the original glass “EYEVAN Curve Lens,” developed with the manufacturer through the custom blending of its color.
