10eyevan began its development in 2017.

Designed by Hirotaka Nakagawa, a member of the same design team, these eyewear pieces embody designs and functionality that he considers genuinely beautiful based on his own aesthetic sensibility, under the concept of “beautiful tools.” Guided by the belief that “a beautiful tool is an assemblage of beautiful parts,” each component was carefully selected and examined, culminating in the creation of eyewear composed of “10 special parts” over a period of more than three years. 

Among the appealing <Celluloid Collection>—featuring meticulously crafted details such as celluloid, distinguished by its hard texture and unique color and character, along with parts made from silver925 and mother-of-pearl—the previous model, ＜FAT RIM (thick rim)＞, is particularly appealing for its moderate volume and refined appearance.

This new ＜BOLD RIM (extra-thick rim)＞ model is an updated version of its predecessor, with an even stronger presence and a finish that further accentuates its distinctive texture and appearance. In addition to signature components such as β-titanium Torx screws, titanium hinges, and S925 end tips, the temples were newly designed specifically for BOLD RIM, creating a model that combines natural and synthetic materials in an optimal balance. “no.1-Ⅲ BR” features an exquisite shape that sits between a beautiful Panto and Wellington silhouette.

The size was deliberately ordered in 43, allowing you to enjoy a classic look that pairs well with a jacket-and-trousers style. The shell pads, another signature detail, are made of silver rather than mother-of-pearl in this model.

The balance of the glossy texture of the celluloid with the rugged silver is another highlight.
