10eyevan began its development in 2017.

Designed by Hirotaka Nakagawa, a designer on the same design team, these eyewear pieces embody designs and functionality that he considers purely beautiful, based on his own aesthetic sensibility and the concept of “beautiful tools.” Based on the idea that “a beautiful tool is a collection of beautiful parts,” each component was carefully selected and examined, and after more than three years of development, the team successfully created eyewear composed of “10 special parts.” 

Among the , which features carefully selected details such as celluloid—known for its hard texture and distinctive color and character—along with parts made from 925 silver and mother-of-pearl, the stands out for its moderate volume and refined appearance.

Combined with celluloid’s glossy texture, it adds a subtle presence to its intellectual impression.

At first glance, they are refined Wellington frames. However, a closer look reveals subtle polygonal nuances in the contours, creating a natural coexistence of classic and modern elements when worn. Rather than making a statement through flamboyance, the design blends seamlessly with the face while refining its contours. Instead of changing the wearer’s impression, these frames subtly enhance the wearer’s individuality.

The shell pads, which are also an iconic feature, are made of silver rather than mother-of-pearl in this model.

The balance between the glossy texture of the celluloid and the rugged silver is another highlight.
