This is a substantial, 100% cotton canvas made by densely weaving thick cotton yarn.
It has a strong presence from the outset, with no hint of insubstantiality in either its appearance or feel.
At the same time, it is not a material that is particularly resistant to abrasion; with use, the color fades, the edges soften, and its character changes over time.
Rather than a fabric intended to maintain uniform beauty, it is a material designed to develop its atmosphere through wear and the passage of time.
This is canvas in which traces of time quietly remain amid its rugged character.
When designing a size intended for everyday use, what it needed was “room” and “ease.”
It does not feel cramped even when carrying documents or a change of clothes, while on days when you carry less, its size does not become the main impression.
You should not feel weighed down the moment you pick it up, yet your belongings should settle comfortably inside. We sought that balance.
We added a rugged zipper to the opening.
Without compromising the open character of a tote bag, it adds the reassurance of keeping your belongings out of sight and greater ease while traveling.
Even when it is closed, there is no need to be overly cautious.
It is simply a change that slightly expands the range of situations in which you can use it.
There are three pockets on the inside.

For the fabric, we chose a canvas that does not hold its shape too rigidly.

The leather patch is made from deerskin.
