Alongside the distinctive fading and aging of denim, it offers the refreshing coolness and crisp, textured hand characteristic of linen.
The warp yarns in the NOIR color use rope-dyed sulfur black, while sulfur black is also used for the weft yarns.
Careful attention is given to every stage, from sizing the greige yarn to weaving, allowing the natural slubs characteristic of linen to emerge across the surface.
Despite its substantial 10oz weight, this fabric has fluidity and a natural drape, creating a material that balances lightness with depth.
It looks refined, but is a remarkably straightforward pair of slacks in its construction.
The fabric used is the same 10oz linen denim as the blouson mentioned earlier. The structure of these trousers is built around both lightness and fluid drape.
The central choice in this model is the use of felled seams.
Rather than the open seams common to typical slacks, we deliberately use a workwear-inspired construction process.
By using felled seams at the inseam and seat seam, the seam allowances interlock and distribute stress during wear.
As a result, the lines are less likely to lose their shape with continued wear, and the drape from the waist to the hem remains stable.
The silhouette is intentionally and decisively wide.
While based on straight lines, subtle curves are introduced in places to create a balance that avoids relying solely on ruggedness.
The waist is designed to fit comfortably without excess, while the line from the thighs to the hem remains unrestricted, falling naturally and straight.
