Super120’s wool is knitted into a high-density smooth fabric, then compressed to give it a firm, structured hand, creating this cut melton.
Unlike woven melton, it retains the flexibility unique to knitted fabric while achieving a structure that holds its shape beautifully in tailoring.
The use of high-quality raw materials eliminates the roughness often found in ordinary melton, resulting in a smooth, refined touch against the skin.
Neat in appearance yet offering a certain lightness when worn, this is a premium wool fabric that combines quality with ease of wear.
At first glance, it is a very simple blouson.
But once you put it on, you immediately realize: “This is not ordinary.”
It looks like woven melton. But the fabric is cut-and-sew.
It has a soft, supple feel, without stiffness, and falls along the body.
Whether layered or worn on its own, the fabric never asserts itself too strongly.
We designed it with that sense of distance very much in mind.
The construction is very quiet. There is no gathering at the sleeve caps.
Rather than creating unnecessary volume from the shoulders through the sleeves, the lines are kept clean and precise.
As a result, the silhouette holds its shape when worn, and a beautiful line remains when viewed from the side.
Elastic is inserted at the hem and cuffs, but in a restrained amount that keeps it from becoming overtly sporty.
It has the functionality of a blouson, while feeling closer to a shirt.
The front features a zip closure.
EXCELLA zippers are used, with a custom-colored slider and double-width teeth chosen deliberately.
To be honest, they are quite shiny.
But they work precisely because of this fabric, this volume, and this design.
The presence of the metal keeps the overall impression from becoming drawn out, quietly giving it definition.
It is casual without becoming sloppy.
It pairs naturally with tailoring and slacks without feeling out of place, while blending easily with denim and military trousers.
