— Cotton Polyester Twill / Two Tuck Trousers —
Two-tuck trousers made from a 50/50 cotton-polyester blend T/C fabric.
In both summer and winter, if possible, I want to wear the same pair of trousers.
With 100% cotton, the fabric has a beautiful texture and feel against the skin, but depending on the finish, it can become slightly stiff.
On the other hand, using 100% polyester results in something different from the character I was looking for.
To find the balance between the two, we used equal parts cotton and polyester.
The natural texture of cotton remains, while polyester adds durability and lightness.
The fabric has a pleasantly airy fullness, and as the twill weave catches the light, it develops a sheen closer to that of slacks while retaining the easygoing feel of work pants.
The front features two pleats.
We added ample volume from the waist through the thighs, creating a silhouette that falls slightly away from the body.
Press in the center crease firmly with an iron for a clean, tailored look.
Remove the crease, and the fabric’s volume comes through as is, allowing you to wear them as a more relaxed, wide-legged pair of trousers.
Wear them neatly or wear them loose and roomy.
You don’t have to think too much about the season or what to pair them with.
These are the kind of trousers that make you reach for them almost without thinking—the sort that can make a person pleasantly lazy.
There’s no reason not to have them in every color.
We aimed to create a pair that blends into everyday life so naturally you can feel that way.
