— Cotton Polyester Twill / Two Tuck Trousers —
Two-tuck trousers made from T/C fabric, a 50/50 blend of cotton and polyester.
In both summer and winter, if possible, I want to wear the same pair of pants.
With 100% cotton, the fabric has a beautiful texture and hand feel, but depending on the finish, it can feel slightly stiff.
On the other hand, using 100% polyester results in something different from the character I was looking for.
To find the balance between the two, we used equal parts cotton and polyester.
The natural texture of cotton remains, while polyester adds durability and lightness.
The fabric has a moderate fullness, as though it holds air within it. As light catches the twill weave, it develops a luster closer to that of slacks while retaining the easygoing feel of work pants.
The front features two tucks.
We gave ample room from the waist through the thighs, creating a silhouette that falls slightly away from the body.
Press in the center crease firmly with an iron for a neat, trouser-like appearance.
Alternatively, remove the crease to let the fabric’s volume come through, and wear them as a more relaxed, generously wide pair of pants.
Wear them neatly or wear them loose and relaxed.
There is no need to think too much about the season or what to pair them with.
These are the kind of pants that make you neglect everything else and reach for them again and again.
There’s no such thing as too many colors.
We aimed to create a pair that blends into everyday life so naturally you could feel that way.
