— Atto Vannucci / Quattro Pieghe —

Atto Vannucci is a tie brand created by Seven Fold, founded in Florence, Italy, in 2011 by Kenji Kaga.

This is a regimental tie specially commissioned by cliché from Atto Vannucci.

The blade features classic regimental stripes, while the smaller blade is made from solid-colored fabric.

Once tied, it looks at first glance like an entirely ordinary regimental tie.
Yet the difference reveals itself only when you take off your jacket or the smaller blade happens to peek out. Precisely because it is a classic design, we chose not to make a major change, but to leave behind just a subtle sense of incongruity.

Ties are generally made by joining three pieces of fabric, but this tie consists of two parts so that the smaller blade can be switched to solid fabric. The construction itself was carefully considered to ensure that no unnecessary joining stitches appear on the front of the solid section.

It is constructed using the Quattro Pieghe technique.
Folding the fabric in four while inserting an interlining stabilizes its shape, creating a neat knot and a moderate sense of volume when tied.

The material is 100% silk.
Woven as an homage to Japanese kimono fabrics, it has an expression that evokes a certain nostalgia beneath the characteristic luster of silk.

A regimental tie—a thoroughly classic style.
Traditional from the front, yet just a little unconventional on the reverse.

We feel that this is just the right degree of difference.
