A blouson based on French workwear, constructed using reversible sewing.

With four patch pockets arranged across the front, its form retains the rustic simplicity characteristic of workwear.
By combining Super 120’s wool with reversible sewing, we have transformed a rugged garment into something quieter and more refined.

The fabric is carefully brushed and fulled repeatedly, bringing out the softness and smoothness inherent in Super 120’s wool.

The garment is constructed using reversible sewing, treating two layers of fabric as one.
By opening the seam allowances and sewing with an equal amount of ease on both sides of the fabric, the presence of the seam allowances is subdued, allowing the fabric’s inherent softness and drape to come to the fore.

While straight sections are often sewn by machine in conventional reversible sewing, every straight section of this blouson is hand-felled.
The four patch pockets on the front are also individually hand-felled into place.

To leave this handwork visible, the pockets are deliberately made without buttons.
Rather than adding decoration, the construction itself is allowed to serve as the design.

Though based on workwear, the fabric is soft to the touch and the construction is as delicate as dresswear.
