One-Piece Sleeve Balmacaan Coat
— Supima Cotton × French Linen × Silk Twill —
“When should you wear a spring coat?”
This coat was designed as one answer to that question.
It is a long Balmacaan coat with a 120 cm length.
And yet, once you put it on, it feels surprisingly light.
Its airy quality, hard to believe it is made entirely from natural fibers, comes from the combination of materials and the weave design.
The fabric is a high-density twill woven with Supima cotton in the warp and French linen and silk in the weft.
Centered on the suppleness of Supima cotton, it layers linen’s dry texture with silk’s characteristic drape and subtle luster.
The result is a refined appearance with a touch of warmth.
In the final stage, the fibers are treated to enhance their nourishment and resilience, giving the fabric a measured springiness alongside its lightness.
The silhouette is generously cut, with a body width of 140 cm.
Depending on how you style the layers underneath, it works naturally not only through spring and summer, but also in autumn and winter.
While it is not a coat designed with strong wind resistance as its primary focus, this allows us to prioritize comfort over long periods of wear, with minimal stress on the body.
Light enough to work on its own, yet polished enough to look put-together.
A modern Balmacaan coat that catches the spring and summer breeze while remaining useful across the seasons.
