10eyevan is an eyewear brand launched in 2017 by designer Hirotaka Nakagawa under the concept of “beautiful tools.”

Based on the belief that “a beautiful tool is an assembly of beautiful parts,” each element is carefully considered, and a pair of glasses is constructed from “10 special parts” selected over a period of more than three years.

The nose pads are shell pads carved from natural mother-of-pearl.
The screws are made from lightweight, highly durable beta titanium and feature a Torx head, while the temple ends are fitted with K18 or silver balancers to achieve a well-balanced weight distribution when worn.

These parts are not beautiful merely as decoration; each one has a proper function.
By pursuing functionality to its fullest, 10eyevan achieves its distinctive delicate and intelligent presence.

NO.10 is a model based on the teardrop shape.
By toning down the ruggedness commonly associated with teardrop frames and giving the lens line a softer curve, it retains a classic atmosphere while creating a light, refined impression.

A spacious size 52 with delicate metal rims.
Although the shape has a strong presence, the balance between the slender lines and lens size has been carefully considered so that the glasses do not appear to float separately from the face.

It has the character of a teardrop frame, but never feels overpowering.
Rather than making the glasses themselves the focus, this pair naturally blends into the wearer’s expression.
