Atto Vannucci is a tie brand created by Sevenfold, a company founded in Florence, Italy, by Kenji Kaga in 2011.

The technique that defines the brand is “Sette Pieghe,” made by folding a large piece of fabric into seven layers without using interlining.

Conventional ties use interlining to stabilize their thickness and shape, while Sette Pieghe creates the necessary thickness and three-dimensional form by folding the fabric itself over and over.

Like folding a single scarf, artisans sew each tie by hand, carefully responding to the fabric’s firmness and softness.
Because its shape is not fixed by interlining, it feels light in the hand, while the fabric gently expands when tied, creating natural volume from the knot through the V-zone.

The way it feels when worn also differs slightly from that of a conventional interlined tie.
It does not feel as though the neck is being held rigidly in place, allowing you to tie it while preserving the inherent softness of the fabric.

Made from 100% silk.
It has the characteristic luster and suppleness of silk, while the seven layers create a moderate firmness, maintaining a clean definition within its softness.

A time-honored tailoring technique is not merely preserved in form, but continues to be carried out by artisans today.
