A flight jacket made from Taslan nylon, inspired by the MA-1.

The fabric has a matte, cotton-like appearance with the strong characteristic sheen of nylon subdued.
Rather than the smooth look typical of synthetic fibers, its slightly dry touch allows it to blend naturally with a military-inspired design.

It is constructed using the same fabric on both the outer and inner layers, a method known as “musho仕立て.”

Instead of adding a conventional lining, the same Taslan nylon is layered twice, so the fabric’s appearance remains consistent whether viewed from the outside or inside.
The double layer creates a moderate thickness and structure, while the air trapped between the fabrics also enhances warmth.

The silhouette is given enough room to accommodate a sweater underneath, while being adjusted so it does not appear unnecessarily oversized.

The shoulders are moderately dropped, while the sleeves are given ample volume.
Drawing in that volume with ribbed cuffs creates a natural gather at the sleeves and forms the rounded outline characteristic of an MA-1.

The front zipper uses YKK EXCELLA.
Against the matte Taslan nylon, the sheen of the polished metal serves as a subtle accent.

While retaining the ruggedness of the MA-1, the texture, proportions, and construction make it a quieter garment.
