Chino trousers made from heavyweight whipcord.

Whipcord is a dense twill fabric with a clearly defined diagonal weave.
It has substantial weight and firmness, creating a more pronounced, rugged texture on the surface than conventional chino cloth.

The fabric is finished with a sulfur dye.

Rather than fixing the color uniformly deep into the fibers, sulfur dyes gradually fade with repeated wear and washing.
Wear marks emerge where the fabric rubs, while variations in tone develop along the creases. Like denim, the time spent wearing them remains visible in the character of the fabric.

Although the fabric is substantial, its stiffness gradually eases with wear, softening and adapting to the body's movements.
That transformation—from the uniform appearance of new fabric to a material with faded color, a more pronounced twill, and the imprint of your own way of wearing it—is part of what makes these trousers compelling.

The shape is that of a chino, familiar and easy to wear.
