Linen Washi Shirt Blouson 〔TAN〕
— Linen & Washi / Plain Weave —
A densely woven fabric made with fine-count linen for the warp and washi for the weft.
The addition of washi gives the fabric structure and a dry touch while keeping it lightweight.
To achieve a vintage-like character, the fabric is treated with a hard wash to create lightning wrinkles and areas of fading, with particular care also given to the finishing process.
A garment that sits somewhere between a shirt and a blouson.
All structural seams are flat-felled. Seam allowances are concealed, rigorously reducing the amount of detail on the inside. As a result, it feels exceptionally quiet against the skin when worn.
The three-dimensional form is created through lines rather than decoration.
The way the shoulder falls into the sleeve is adjusted entirely through the pattern. While functioning as a blouson, its comfort remains an extension of that of a shirt.
The fabric is linen and washi.
It offers an excellent balance of lightness and structure, and does not cling to the skin even during humid periods. Matching M-51 trousers are also available in the same fabric.
It is a layering piece, but never feels overly formal.
A shirt blouson designed to add a quiet extra layer to everyday life.
