The iconic “Forestière” created by the prestigious Parisian house〈ARNYS（Arnys）〉has been reinterpreted and reconstructed through cantate’s lens. While preserving its classic design, we thoroughly revisited everything from the choice of materials and tailoring to its construction, elevating it into a contemporary silhouette.

For the outer fabric, we use a special twill made from Super120’s wool that was carefully fulled and teasled over the course of two months. Supple yet richly substantial, it has a soft, full-bodied texture.
For the lining, cotton flannel, cotton-rayon, and cotton raw silk are used selectively according to each section, balancing comfort and refinement. Entréfinos suede is applied to the collar and details, adding depth to the contrast between the materials.

Even in the unseen stitching and finishing, painstaking handwork comparable to bespoke tailoring has been devoted. The more you handle this piece, the more its density and quiet intensity reveal themselves.
