10eyevan is an eyewear brand launched in 2017 by designer Hirotaka Nakagawa under the concept of “beautiful tools.”

Based on the belief that “a beautiful tool is an assemblage of beautiful parts,” every aspect has been reconsidered, down to each individual screw. Each pair of glasses is constructed from “10 special parts” carefully selected over more than three years.

These include shell pads carved from natural mother-of-pearl; β-titanium Torx screws and temples; titanium rims and a bridge; and K18 or silver balancers that optimize the weight distribution when worn.

These parts are not merely beautiful as decoration; each has a clear functional purpose.
Through the accumulation of these details, a single “beautiful tool” known as 10eyevan is created.

NO.5 is a round frame with softly curved lines.

Its slender, delicate GOLD metal frame is paired with pale PURPLE lenses.
Although the shape is a classic round style, the fine frame lines keep it from making a strong statement on the face, creating a light, balanced look in which the lens color remains subtly visible.

The details include hexagram-shaped β-titanium Torx screws and shell pads made from natural mother-of-pearl.
A 925 sterling silver balancer is placed at the end of each temple, carefully considered not only for its visual beauty but also for the weight balance when worn.

The lenses are 10eyevan’s original 2-base polarized lenses.
The shallow curve highlights the frame’s delicate lines, while the polarization reduces reflected light and glare.

The classic round shape, paired with GOLD and pale PURPLE.

Rather than significantly altering the shape, NO.5 gives classic eyewear a lighter appearance through the combination of fine lines and color.
