Washed Linen Denim Chore Blouson 〔INDIGO〕
— Rope-Dyed Linen Denim —
10oz linen denim made from 100% linen yarn, rope-dyed with indigo to create a white-centered effect.
While enjoying the distinctive fading and aging of denim, you can fully appreciate linen’s characteristic coolness and crisp, dry hand.
The warp yarns in the NOIR color use rope-dyed sulfur black, while sulfur black is also used for the weft yarns.
From sizing the greige yarn to weaving, each process is carried out with care, allowing linen’s characteristic slubs to appear naturally across the surface.
Despite its substantial 10oz weight, this fabric has a soft drape and natural fluidity, creating a material in which lightness and depth coexist.
This blouson was designed from the outset to make the most of linen denim’s lightness and natural drape.
Less formal than a jacket, yet slightly beyond a shirt. Its position as a layer has been deliberately left quite ambiguous.
The fabric is 10oz linen denim.
It has the characteristic look of denim, but does not feel heavy when worn.
The slubs and wrinkles unique to linen appear as shading rather than harsh lines. Washing gives it a relaxed expression from the very beginning.
The shoulders and body are not overly sculpted, with a design based on straight lines.
When worn, the fabric naturally pulls away from the body and sways quietly with movement. That sense of space has been prioritized.
The front placket and pockets draw from the language of work jackets, while their proportions and placement have been adjusted to prevent the overall look from becoming too rough.
It can be worn as an extension of a shirt or as a lightweight jacket.
Because it does not prescribe a specific purpose, it is a piece that naturally adapts to the wearer’s needs.
The more it is worn, the more wrinkles and color changes accumulate, gradually giving the garment an expression of its own.
