Washed Linen Denim Tuck Trousers 〔INDIGO〕
— Rope-Dyed Linen Denim —
10oz linen denim made from 100% linen yarn, rope-dyed with indigo to create a white-centered effect.
You can enjoy the distinctive fading and aging of denim while fully experiencing the coolness and crisp, textured feel unique to linen.
The warp yarns in the NOIR color use rope-dyed sulfur black, while sulfur black is also used for the weft yarns.
From sizing the greige yarn to weaving, each stage is carefully executed, allowing linen’s characteristic slubs to emerge naturally across the surface.
Despite the substantial feel of 10oz denim, this fabric offers fluidity and a natural drape, bringing together lightness and depth.
Although they look refined, these are very straightforward, honestly constructed trousers.
The fabric is the same 10oz linen denim used for the blouson mentioned earlier. The structure of these trousers was built around both lightness and drape.
The key design choice in this model is the use of felled seams.
Rather than the open seams common in standard trousers, we deliberately use a workwear-inspired construction process.
By using felled seams along the inseam and seat seam, the seam allowances interlock and distribute stress during wear.
As a result, the lines are less likely to lose their shape with extended wear, and the drape from the waist to the hem remains stable.
The silhouette is intentionally and distinctly wide.
While based on straight lines, subtle curves are introduced in select areas to create a balance that avoids leaning solely into ruggedness.
The waist fits comfortably without excess, while the cut remains unrestricted from the thighs to the hem, falling naturally and straight.
Linen’s characteristic slubs and softness emerge as “room” rather than “stiffness” when you walk.
Even when made from the same fabric, the blouson and trousers serve different roles.
This pair expresses that difference through its construction and design.
