— GIZA Cotton Check / Stand Collar Shirt —

A stand-collar check shirt made with GIZA cotton.

The neckline is intentionally cut slightly generously, with ample room through the body.
The length is somewhat longer, and deep side slits create a soft silhouette closer to a blouse than an ordinary shirt.

Both the warp and weft use GIZA cotton.

We specially developed a lustrous yarn with the fuzz deliberately removed, then wove it on an air-jet loom.
Because the yarn has a smooth surface, the check lines remain defined without becoming overly blurred, allowing the pattern’s contours to emerge clearly. At the same time, the fabric reveals the natural luster characteristic of GIZA cotton.

For the finishing process, we also use camellia oil, traditionally used for hair.

Running the woven fabric through camellia oil preserves the refined appearance of the lustrous yarn while giving it a soft, supple hand when touched.

The neckline is roomy, the length is long, and the side slits are deep.
Rather than closely wrapping the body, the shirt is designed so that the fabric moves slightly away from it.
