— GIZA Cotton Check / Stand Collar Shirt —

A stand-collar check shirt made with GIZA cotton.

The neck is intentionally cut slightly wide, while the body is given a relaxed fit.
The length is slightly extended, and deep side slits create a soft silhouette that feels closer to a blouse than a conventional shirt.

GIZA cotton is used for both the warp and weft.

We developed an original lustrous yarn with the nap intentionally removed, then wove it on an air-jet loom.
Because the yarn has a smooth surface, the check lines remain defined without becoming overly blurred, allowing the pattern to emerge with clarity. At the same time, the fabric retains the natural luster characteristic of GIZA cotton.

For the finishing treatment, we also use camellia oil, traditionally used in hair care.

Passing the woven fabric through camellia oil preserves the refined expression of the lustrous yarn while giving it a soft, supple hand to the touch.

The neck is relaxed, the length is long, and the side slits are deep.
Rather than wrapping closely around the body, the shirt is designed so that the fabric moves at a slight distance from it.
