Made from denim reconstructed from 1950s LEVI’S 501XX, reinterpreted through cantáte’s unique perspective.
Designed with summer wear in mind, the warp tension and yarn count have been adjusted to retain the distinctive presence of denim while providing a dry, lightweight feel against the skin.
This is a signature cantáte fabric that combines the character of traditional denim with modern comfort.
At first glance, the finish may appear to have been created by splattered paint.
In fact, it is produced entirely through a bleaching process.
The countless fine dots spreading across the fabric resemble a galaxy, which inspired the name “GALACTIC WASH.”
The finishing is carried out by hand by skilled artisans.
Each piece has a different character, and no two are exactly alike.
Rather than relying on overly deliberate decoration, chance is incorporated into the design,
layering a one-of-a-kind character onto a standard denim jacket.
