The outer fabric is made from flannel woven with ultra-fine Super 120’s wool.

This river-finished jacket is crafted by carefully cutting away the connecting threads between the layers of the double-woven fabric with a cutter, then folding the opened fabric inward and hand-stitching it closed one stitch at a time.

It uses none of the interlinings, shoulder pads, or other trimmings typically found in tailored jackets.
Rather than supporting the fabric with interlinings or pads, its shape is created solely through the softness of Super 120’s wool and the tailoring, resulting in a natural, rounded silhouette that follows the body and a light, effortless feel.

The jacket retains a distinct silhouette, yet the shoulders and chest feel entirely free of stiffness.
It looks structured, but once worn, it feels as light as a cardigan. This difference between appearance and comfort is another quality unique to this construction.
