EX) MOD 7 / PANEL BORDER SETTE PIEGHE TIE
Founded in Florence, Italy, in 2011 by Kenji Kaga, a world-renowned well-dressed gentleman,
Atto Vannucci is a tie brand developed by Sevenfold Co., Ltd..
The “sette pieghe” construction uses a square piece of fabric nearly twice the size of a standard tie and folds it seven times without interlining.
The result is a tie that is as light and supple as a scarf, with a soft, effortless drape when knotted.
While carrying on time-honored artisanal techniques, it offers a tangible sense of warmth and character born of handcraftsmanship.
Every stage of production is entirely handmade,
with the artisan’s skill and presence imbued in every detail of the construction, every movement of the needle, and every stitch.
When knotted, it creates sculptural volume in the V-zone,
offering a soft fullness and distinctive presence not found in the conventional three-fold, or tre pieghe, construction.
For this occasion, we have prepared two colors of panel stripe ties as a cliché exclusive.
Made from silk cotton with an elegant sheen, the fabric balances lightness with a pleasantly crisp hand.
The width, height, and placement of the stripes have been carefully adjusted,
creating a design with a dual character that can appear almost like a solid tie when the jacket is buttoned,
while revealing its striped pattern when worn more openly.
Its expression changes with the way it is knotted and styled, making it a tie to enjoy in many different ways.
