A Chester coat finished with hand-sewn reversible construction.

To make the most of the fabric’s texture, it is carefully brushed and fulled repeatedly, made with Super 120's wool, and finished using a construction (= reversible construction) in which two pieces of fabric are sewn together, with an equal amount of fabric eased from the seam on both pieces.

In typical reversible construction, straight sections are almost always hemmed by machine, but this luxurious garment has even its straight sections hand-stitched.

The pockets are also hand-stitched, and the buttons have been omitted to highlight the hand-finished details, making this design especially appealing.

This coat is lightweight and comfortable to wear, yet features a beautiful, substantial drape.
