10eyevan is an eyewear brand launched in 2017 by designer Hirotaka Nakagawa under the concept of “beautiful tools.”

Based on the idea that “a beautiful tool is an assemblage of beautiful parts,” the brand reexamines everything from a single screw onward, constructing each pair of glasses from “10 special parts” selected over more than three years.

These include shell pads carved from natural mother-of-pearl, β-titanium Torx screws and temples, titanium rims and a bridge, and an 18K gold or silver balancer that fine-tunes the weight distribution when worn.

Each part has a clear functional reason for being there, not merely an ornamental beauty.
Through this accumulation, 10eyevan creates a single “beautiful tool.”

NO.5 is a round frame with softly curving lines.

The color is 1S SILVER.
The fine, delicate metal frame paired with the cool, hard tone of silver gives the classic round shape a clean, understated impression.

Although round is a distinctive shape, the frame lines are kept as fine as possible.
Rather than making the glasses themselves strongly assertive, the light balance leaves only slender metal lines across the face.

Details include β-titanium Torx screws shaped like six-pointed stars and shell pads made from natural mother-of-pearl.
A 925 sterling silver balancer is placed at the end of each temple, with attention given not only to appearance but also to weight distribution when worn.

From the smallest screw to the temple ends, every part has a reason for its material selection.
