10eyevan is an eyewear brand launched in 2017 by designer Hirotaka Nakagawa under the concept of “beautiful tools.”

Based on the idea that “a beautiful tool is an accumulation of beautiful parts,” the brand reexamines everything from the individual screws onward, selecting “10 special parts” over a period of more than three years to construct each pair of glasses.

Shell pads carved from natural shell, β-titanium Torx screws and temples, titanium rims and bridge, and an 18K or silver balancer that fine-tunes the weight distribution when worn.

Each serves a purpose beyond mere decoration, helping make eyewear both beautiful and comfortable to use.

NO.5 is a round frame with softly curving lines.

A fine, delicate GOLD metal frame is paired with pale PURPLE lenses.
While the shape is classically round, the lines are kept as slender as possible so the frame does not dominate the face, creating a light, balanced look in which the lens color remains subtly visible.

Details include β-titanium Torx screws in the shape of six-pointed stars and shell pads made from natural shell.
A 925 sterling silver balancer is set at the ends of the temples to fine-tune the weight distribution when worn.

The lenses are 10eyevan's original 2-base polarized lenses.
By keeping the curve shallow, they preserve the frame's delicate lines while the polarization reduces reflected light and glare.

The classic round shape, combined with GOLD and pale PURPLE.
These sunglasses are not overly classic; instead, only the color and fine lines remain quietly on the face.
