10eyevan is an eyewear brand launched in 2017 by designer Hirotaka Nakagawa with the concept of “beautiful tools.”

Based on the idea that “a beautiful tool is an assemblage of beautiful parts,” each material and structural element is carefully examined, and each pair of glasses is constructed from “10 special parts” selected over a period of more than three years.

This model uses celluloid, known for its hard texture and distinctive luster, finished with a slender rim.

Celluloid is characterized by the deep luster that emerges through polishing and its dimensional hues.
Rather than relying solely on a substantial frame, the slender rim leaves the shifting luster and color delicately traced across the face.

The shape is based on a Crown Panto.

While the Crown Panto features straight elements along its upper section, softening the corners keeps the character of the shape without making it appear too severe.
By blurring the boundary between straight lines and curves, the frame achieves a balance that feels classic yet sits naturally on the face.

The details include 10eyevan's signature β-titanium Torx screws, titanium hinges, and 925 sterling silver end tips.

Combining celluloid, a naturally derived material, with metals such as titanium and silver.
Layering contrasting textures within these small parts is also characteristic of 10eyevan's craftsmanship.

Rather than making the frame assertive, the slender celluloid lines and softly defined Crown Panto contours remain delicately present on the face.
