Pile Double Half Coat〔OLD ROSE〕
Following 23AW, this outerwear piece is finished using the same pile melton fabric.
Whereas the previous version used lambswool, this one uses British wool.
The densely woven, rounded fabric has a substantial weight and an exceptionally soft feel. During the finishing process, it is repeatedly napped over the course of approximately one to two months, then carefully cut to create a beautifully defined pile.
This double-breasted Chester coat has a relaxed silhouette that avoids looking dowdy, resulting in a refined finish. The familiar genuine horn buttons are used, while the body is lined with cotton cupra and the sleeves with a cotton-silk lining.
A particularly appealing detail is the use of corduroy on the pocket lining as a hand warmer.
A high-quality coat crafted with attention to even the unseen details.
