Shade Pullover 〔NOIR〕
Shade Pullover
— Fine Normandy Linen Knit —
The yarn used is linen spun through a wet-spun process from first-grade flax grown in France's Normandy region.
Our original twisting and dyeing techniques draw out the natural color and cool freshness of the yarn itself.
With little fuzz, it retains linen's characteristic dry touch while offering the fullness and softness of knitwear.
This French linen was twisted into an extra-thick yarn and tightly knitted on a 3-gauge machine.
Using more than 800 g of yarn per garment, it stands apart from the image of linen knits, which are often considered “light and insubstantial.”
It feels substantial in your hands, but once worn, the weight is dispersed and it feels surprisingly light. That sensation is unique to this knitting design.
The knit is constructed through a combination of ribbing and jersey knit, with changes in stitch pattern.
A triangular gusset is placed under each arm, while the sleeve undersides use a flat construction, ensuring freedom of movement and allowing the sleeves to fall naturally as you move.
following the body while maintaining a certain definition. We refined that balance in every detail.
The silhouette is spacious, but carefully designed so that its visual center of gravity sits lower,
It has a presence that keeps it from becoming merely an oversized, “relaxed knit.”
It works as a standalone piece, and its character changes with the wearer's movements and posture.
I believe this pullover allows you to quietly appreciate the level of craftsmanship that goes into a knitwear piece.
