Stupid Shaggy Cardigan〔MIDNIGHT〕
— Silk & Mohair / Cardigan —
A cardigan knitted generously from silk and mohair, with no synthetic fibers whatsoever.
In conventional mohair knits, synthetic fibers may be blended in to improve strength or production efficiency.
This cardigan is knitted solely from the natural fibers of silk and mohair, without them.
The long, soft pile of mohair is layered with the smoothness of silk.
It has a lightness that feels as though it is filled with air, and despite its visual volume, the hand is exceptionally soft.
This knit also changes in character as it is worn.
It has a soft pile from the outset, but with repeated wear, the fibers gradually bloom, developing an even fuller appearance.
At the same time, the fibers are resistant to shedding, minimizing the transfer of mohair onto inner layers, a common issue with mohair knits.
The silhouette is available in two sizes.
It has enough room to be casually layered over a T-shirt or shirt, while offering a balance that allows it to be worn like a lightweight jacket as temperatures drop.
The colors are the deep, quiet MIDNIGHT and KURT, a khaki tone born as an homage to a grunge icon.
The new condition is not the finished state: with wear, the fibers stand up, fill with air, and gradually develop a softer character.
A cardigan to wear while allowing the silk and mohair—the materials themselves—to develop over time.
