Washed Linen Denim Chore Blouson 〔INDIGO〕
— Rope Dyed Linen Denim —
10oz linen denim made from 100% linen yarn, rope-dyed with indigo to create a pale center.
While enjoying the distinctive fading and aging of denim, you can fully appreciate the coolness and crisp, textured hand unique to linen.
The warp yarns in the NOIR color are rope-dyed sulphur black, with sulphur black also used for the weft yarns.
Time and care are invested in every stage, from sizing the greige yarn to weaving, allowing the characteristic slubs of linen to emerge naturally across the surface.
Despite its substantial 10oz weight, this fabric has a fluid drape and natural fall, creating a material that combines lightness with depth.
This blouson was designed from the outset to make the most of the lightness and fluid drape of linen denim.
Less formal than a jacket, yet slightly removed from a shirt. Its position as a layer has been deliberately left quite ambiguous.
The fabric is 10oz linen denim.
It has the characteristic appearance of denim, yet never feels heavy when worn.
The slubs and wrinkles unique to linen emerge as subtle shading rather than pronounced lines. A wash gives it a relaxed, effortless character from the outset.
The shoulders and body are not overly sculpted, with a design based on clean, straight lines.
The fabric naturally falls away from the body when worn, moving quietly with the wearer. That sense of space has been given priority.
The placket and pockets draw on the context of work jackets, while their proportions and placement have been carefully adjusted to avoid an overly rugged impression.
It can be worn as an extension of a shirt or as a lightweight jacket.
Precisely because its purpose is not fixed, this is a piece that naturally adapts to the needs of the wearer.
The more it is worn, the more wrinkles and color changes accumulate, gradually giving the garment a character of its own.
