Washed Linen Denim Tuck Trousers 〔INDIGO〕
— Rope Dyed Linen Denim —
10oz linen denim woven from 100% linen yarn, rope-dyed with indigo to create a lighter center.
While allowing you to enjoy the distinctive fading and aging of denim, it offers the refreshing coolness and crisp, textured hand unique to linen.
The warp yarns in the NOIR color use rope-dyed sulfur black, while the weft yarns are also sulfur black.
From sizing the greige yarn to weaving, every stage is carried out with meticulous care, allowing the characteristic slubs of linen to emerge naturally across the surface.
Despite its substantial 10oz weight, this fabric has fluid movement and a natural drape, combining lightness with depth.
Though refined in appearance, these are exceptionally straightforward slacks in construction.
The fabric used is the same 10oz linen denim as the blouson mentioned above. The structure of these trousers was developed with both lightness and fluid drape in mind.
The defining choice in this model is the use of felled seams.
Rather than the open seams commonly found in standard slacks, a workwear-inspired construction method has been deliberately adopted.
By using felled seams along the inseam and seat seam, the seam allowances interlock, distributing stress during wear.
As a result, the lines remain less prone to distortion even with extended wear, while the drape from the waist to the hem stays consistent.
The silhouette is intentionally and decisively wide.
While based on straight lines, subtle curves are introduced at selected points to create a balance that avoids becoming purely rugged.
The waist sits comfortably without excess, while the leg remains un-tapered from the thighs to the hem, falling naturally in a clean, straight line.
The characteristic slubs and softness of linen emerge in motion not as “stiffness,” but as a sense of “space.”
Even in the same fabric, the blouson and slacks serve different roles.
This pair expresses that difference through its construction and design.
