— Reconstructed 1950s-style Denim —

It uses denim fabric reconstructed from a unique cantáte perspective, based on the 1950s LEVI’S 501XX.

Building on the rugged character of the era, we adjusted the warp tension and yarn count with summer wear in mind.

While retaining denim’s characteristic substantial weight, it has been finished with a dry, light touch against the skin.

The black denim is sulfur-dyed through to the weft.

Even as the fading progresses, it develops into a rich, dimensional character reminiscent of vintage denim rather than becoming monotonous.

A new take on cantáte’s signature fabric, combining tradition and innovation.

While faithfully retaining classic details such as the front pleats, single pocket, and cinch back at the rear,

The silhouette has been reconstructed to suit the current mood.

The treatment is inspired by the natural aging of denim worn diligently for about one to two years.

By keeping the fading restrained and understated, we aimed for a look that, while new, already feels naturally broken in.

It is slightly different from the pleasure of developing denim from scratch,

It offers the feeling of starting just one step before that.
