BISHOP RING

Ezo deer antler ring.

The form is based on a signet ring,

and the surface pattern is individually burned and drawn using a soldering iron.

When heat is applied to the natural antler material, accidental scorch marks and distortions emerge.

All of these come together to create a one-of-a-kind character.

Of approximately 20 antlers, only one is suitable for use.

Furthermore, only three rings can be made from that single antler.

It is a miraculous form born between the laws of nature and the sensitivity of the hand.

A quiet luster, and a sense of warmth dwelling within its inorganic appearance.

Though carved, burned, and reshaped,

it has a mysterious presence, as if it still carries somewhere within it the memory of life.
