PRAY RING

An armor ring made using Ezo deer antler.

Its form was inspired by ancient armor,

and its architectural design is striking despite being made from a natural material.

The pattern on the surface is burned in by hand, one piece at a time, using a soldering iron,

creating accidental scorch marks and variations whenever heat runs through the antler’s fibers.

These traces almost appear to be proof that the material was once alive.

Of approximately 20 antlers, only one is suitable for use.

Furthermore, only three rings can be made from that single antler.

It is an exceptionally rare work born from the intersection of nature’s bounty and the chance inherent in handcrafting.
