RYTHME SLIM

A SILVER 950 bangle inspired by the rib bone of a whale.

Against its softly curving line, one side retains a sharply rising ridge.
An angular surface and a rounded surface coexist within a single outline, creating an organic form.

SLIM is a model that expresses this shape as a single, slender and delicate line.

Despite its slim profile, it is not made as a simple round wire.
By retaining both soft curves and sharp ridges, its thickness and outline change depending on the viewing angle, while a fine gleam of SILVER 950 runs across the surface as the wrist moves.

The origin of this form lies in a whale bone picked up on the beach by Hiromichi Furukawa.

It is said that, remembering the shape and feel of the bone in his hands, he shaped it not by accurately recreating it from drawings, but by relying on the tactile memory that remained in his hands.

Bone formed in nature is neither perfectly straight nor uniformly curved.
Rather than over-correcting its irregularity, it is preserved in the jewelry as soft curves and sharp ridges.
