One-Piece Sleeve Balmacaan Coat
— Supima Cotton × French Linen × Silk Twill —
“When should you wear a spring coat?”
This coat was designed as one answer to that question.
It is a long Balmacaan coat with a 120 cm length.
And yet, once you slip it on, it feels almost unexpectedly light.
Its airy quality, difficult to believe is achieved solely with natural fibers, comes from the combination of materials and the weave construction.
The fabric is a high-density twill woven with Supima cotton in the warp and French linen and silk in the weft.
Built around the suppleness of Supima cotton, it layers linen’s dry texture with the fluid drape and subtle luster of silk.
The result is a refined appearance softened by a touch of warmth.
In the final finishing process, the fibers are treated to enhance their nourishment and resilience, giving the fabric a measured springiness alongside its lightness.
The silhouette is generously cut, with a body width of 140 cm.
Depending on your choice of layers, it adapts naturally not only to spring and summer, but also to fall and winter.
While it is not a coat designed with a strong emphasis on wind resistance, this allows it to prioritize comfort over long periods of wear, with less stress on the body.
Light enough to stand on its own with a single layer, yet refined enough to look polished.
A contemporary Balmacaan coat that welcomes the winds of spring and summer while remaining at home across the seasons.
