HUNTER RING
A substantial ring crafted in K20 gold.
The form has been given a solid sense of volume, while the surface is finished with a low-luster matte texture.
Rather than reflecting light intensely, it is finished so that soft shading emerges within the deep yellow hue unique to K20.
The exterior has a simple appearance with restrained decoration.
By contrast, the interior of the ring—normally concealed by the finger—features fine engravings, much like “ANGEL” and “KNIGHT.”
Depicted are a moonlit night with trees growing thickly and several deer standing within it.
In contrast to the powerful, inorganic form of the exterior, a quiet forest scene unfolds inside.
By engraving a detailed landscape in a place hidden once worn, the ring is given two entirely different expressions within a single form.
The name HUNTER draws inspiration from the stories of Ursula K. Le Guin.
The deer is not merely something to be hunted; it appears before the hunter of its own will.
Those who do not understand this are not hunters in the true sense.
With this idea in mind, the scene of the deer engraved inside expresses not only the strength to bring down prey, but also reverence for nature and life.
