RYTHME SLIM K20

A K20 bangle inspired by a whale’s rib bone.

Against its softly curving lines, one side retains a sharply rising ridge.
Angular surfaces and rounded surfaces coexist within a single outline, creating a quiet, organic form.

The origin of this form was a whale bone found on the beach by Hiromichi Furukawa.

It is said that he remembered the shape and feel of the bone in his hand, shaping it not by accurately transferring it from a drawing, but by relying on the tactile memory that remained in his hands.

Bone formed in nature is neither perfectly straight nor uniformly curved.
Rather than over-correcting its irregularity, it is preserved in the jewelry as soft curves and sharp ridges.

K20 is used as the material.

With a higher gold purity than K18, it is characterized by a deeper yellow hue.
Rather than shining intensely, gentle light appears across the soft curved surfaces, while a fine line of light runs along the ridges where the edges remain sharp. Even within a single material, the form gives rise to different expressions.

Though the design is the same, it is distinct from SILVER.
The density and weight unique to K20 give this slender bangle a definite presence both in the hand and when worn.

Separate versions are available for the right and left hands.

They are not simply mirror images; even the curves that follow the wrist and the direction of the ridges are designed according to the side on which they are worn.
It is made so that the form settles into a natural orientation when the arm is lowered or the hand is moved.
