This season’s leather began with the “material” before the design.
■ Leather chosen from a philosophy

What we use is,Spanish Heavyweight Sheepskin。
We selected large hides measuring close to 100 ds from Spanish meat sheep.
Compared with the typical hide of around 70 ds, the impact of the surface is entirely different.
Why insist so much on the size?
Until now, I had explained it as “eliminating joins to make efficient use of the required yardage.”
But more precisely, that is not quite right.
The reason is,For the sake of the silhouette.
Just like fabric clothing, eliminating horizontal joins makes leather drape naturally, as if it were fabric.
Conversely, when the pieces are divided finely and joined together like patchwork,
Even with the same pattern, the way it falls becomes entirely different.
Leather with many joins has a certain rigidity to its lines.
When the surface is divided, the flow of air comes to a stop.
What I am aiming for is,
A leather garment that falls like fabric.
so we choose large hides.
It may not be the most elegant way to put it,
We do not subscribe to the idea of making the clothes we deliver to our customers from ingredients intended for staff meals.
The larger the area that can be cut from a single hide,
The garment grows quietly stronger.

It has substance, yet feels surprisingly soft to the touch.
