This event is something I personally look forward to every year. What makes it so enjoyable is that there is no other opportunity to gather such an extensive lineup all at once.

It's a special selection that even includes models you normally cannot see at the brand's own stores, so of course, our excitement has been unstoppable since the moment the boxes arrived.
What models have arrived?

The time spent opening the boxes and checking each piece is also one of the pleasures of this event.

 

 

Of course, this event is for those looking for sunglasses for the height of summer and those searching for everyday companion glasses. But even if you think you've seen them every year, you may encounter a model that makes you think, "I didn't know they had this," or fall in love all over again with one that makes you say, "This really is a great pair." It's an event I especially want those who don't usually wear glasses to see, as well as eyewear enthusiasts.

First, this is the model that cannot be omitted when talking about 10 eyevan.

It is a pair that combines a minimalist, face-flattering panto shape with the delicate components characteristic of 10 eyevan.

At cliché, we order this shape every season as part of the inline collection, and No.3 is in fact the one customers choose most often.

Because the design is so complete, it is fascinating how much its appearance changes depending on the color and finish.

The special color prepared for this event is 21S.

A thick layer of pure silver is plated over beta titanium and then sulfured through a chemical process, creating a vintage-like texture with a certain muted quality within the soft beauty unique to silver.

Pure silver is also a material that develops a patina over time, and one of its charms is how its character changes the more it is worn.

It looks excellent when new, of course, but personally, I am also looking forward to seeing how it develops over the years.

This is the model that particularly interests me.

I had been drawn to the rugged character unique to double bridges for some time, but when it came to wearing one myself, the look felt a little too forceful, so I never quite reached for one.

I had been thinking along those lines when I came across this pair—it was exactly what I was looking for.

Its structural basis is a product from the 1970s by a German manufacturer regarded as one of the founders of German design.

That is precisely why, beneath its clean impression, it has a presence that hints at another era.

It is less assertive than a double bridge, yet ordinary glasses can feel slightly insufficient.

I believe that subtle position is this model's greatest appeal.

Even as clothing becomes lighter in the coming season, it should refine your overall impression without standing out awkwardly.

10 eyevan's celluloid is truly exceptional.

Despite its overwhelming solidity and luxurious quality, it is not showy in the slightest. Its beauty naturally conveys the exceptional quality of each component.

Like the “650” mentioned earlier, it has the characteristic strength of a celluloid brow, but this one feels even more pared back.

This may be the model that best captures 10 eyevan's quiet presence.

Its classic, composed character should add just the right amount of structure to the relaxed clothing of summer.

It's the kind of pair that lends a touch of refinement even to a simple T-shirt.

 

I'll stop at four pairs for today, but there are still so many models that interest me—more than I can possibly introduce.

Two years ago, I was truly lost in the world of eyewear.

There were so many things that caught my eye. But since it was my first pair, I couldn't find one that made me think, "This is it!"

It was at this event that I found the glasses that are still my everyday companion.

With so many options, choosing may seem difficult, but in reality, the most important thing is to try on as many as possible.
