Hello.
This is Kinoshita from cliché.
OLD MAN series arrived from refomed.
This is the brand's third season as cliché .
There are many "?" in the product name.
RIGHT HANDED / MOSQUITO / DONGOROSU
The meaning is clear, but it is difficult to relate.
This time I came with OLD MAN.
I guess it's just my grandfather.
Even though I said that, I thought I knew because I had talked to some extent, but...
Every time I see him, I feel that his good upbringing and background, which is the reason he started the brand, shines through.
By the way, let me say this first,
When I say “he”, I don’t mean looking down on him,
Since we've had drinks together many times, I don't know what to call him.
Ando-san, Ando-sama, Ando-kun, they are all different.
I don't know how to call it like this, so
Please let me say "he" this time.
By the way, what is OLD MAN?
Literally, grandpa.
It is also the most impressive word in refomed as a detail and theme.
Influenced by my grandfather, who was a plasterer, I have also been involved in the plastering industry since I was young, and many of my items are inspired by that knowledge or from things around me.
He says that when his grandfather came to Tokyo when he was young, he only had one purse.
I cut out those words and incorporate them into items as familiar details.
This time's OLD MAN has a design that you can wear even if you've gained weight and your stomach is protruding, and the pants are also tucked in the front and back.
Well, how many tucks are you doing?
You might see an old man wearing slacks with 4 pleats and a design similar to HED MAYNER's.
This is a design that takes into consideration ease of movement and convenience.
This is Sakazen.
Track jacket and pants ordered as top and bottom.
For someone like me who loves sports, and who wants to focus more on that this season, this item is perfect because if I make one mistake, I could end up becoming a physical education teacher.
Made of cotton-poly cardboard knit, this item is firm and has just the right amount of shine.
It has a finish similar to sweatshirts, but since it is not fleece-lined, hair does not stick to it, and it can be washed, so it is easy to care for.
The silhouette is short, the arms are thick, and the sleeves gather tightly at the ends.
The ribbing on the sleeves and hem has a border, giving it a sports brand feel.
The most noticeable tack is the OLD MAN specification mentioned above.
The mysterious pocket on top is apparently taken from an Adidas track jersey from the 1950s.
I'm a casual fan of Adidas, but I've never seen this detail before.
What a maniac.
The deepest half zip ever seen.
However, I didn't really pay attention to it because I didn't think there was a limit to the depth.
It has a strong fresh taste, so I end up liking it.
Actually, this is also a small story.
For example, if you are working as a plasterer while wearing clothes with a zipper,
Apparently the cement sticks to the zip and hardens, causing it to break.
This design uses that theory as a detail and lowers the position to the limit that can be considered a half zip.
It doesn't feel too thick, so it's suitable for wearing as a skipper during the delicate temperatures from spring to summer.
Feel free to use each in your own way.

The image is a jersey, so it's perfect for those who don't want to wear a track jacket from a classic sports brand.
I wear too many spring clothes and wear them too lightly, so I also style them by leaning forward and wearing lightly.
Of course, it is also good to layer it under a coat to add warmth, and since it can be adopted from this season, you can choose it for immediate use.

Pintuck track pants that can also be used as a set-up.
As someone who loves red bread, this was an order I couldn't pass up.
The key is a simple design that is neither too thick nor overly statement.
Like the top, there are details similar to the pants I have at adidas,
There are no side lines, and the milling joints are of the same color to give it a sharp look.
An easy piece that is both jersey and sweatpants.
Taking advantage of the firmness and luster of cardboard knit, it has an elegant feel that goes great with boots.
I ordered it as a setup,
To be honest, I don't have any desire to match the top and bottom,
I would like each item to add color to the styling.

You can buy it as a top and bottom, or of course you can wear it as a set.
Personally, I find it very appealing when used alone.
My unwavering favorite color is RED.
However, I want to promote OFF WHITE for 2023SS, so I tried incorporating many items from other brands as well.
It's super easy to style, like cantate's sweatpants or CLASS's military pants.
It stands out even in dark clothes and outerwear, and blends in with other colors without fighting.
It's a color that subdues even patterned items, so I would definitely recommend it again.
Now, the topic has deviated from OLD MAN, but
In the end, the meaning of it is not the most important thing,
If you ask me if modern clothes have details like Sakazen, there aren't many in our market.
Because of his background, I can empathize with him and feel that he has a strong persuasive power.
When I say grandma, I'm a grandpa's girl, so I understand.
He is also a grandfather's child, and I think that by making clothes he is showing his filial piety to his parents and expressing his feelings.
When I look at it, I feel like I can get into it, and it feels good.
This is also connected to making the tag easy to remove.
I wonder what brand it will be when my future self takes it out of the closet.
I don't know where it came from because it's a used item, but it's kind of interesting.
There's a reason, but it's hard to understand, and it's best for the person wearing it to think about it themselves.
Even the smallest details have meaning.
This is my favorite part of reformed.
