"Harness Latigo Cowboy"-Roper Style / Rios of Mercedes
Rios of Mercedes is a custom boot manufacturer founded in 1853.
We have a factory in Mercedes, Texas, and manufacture the highest quality boots by continuing to follow traditional manufacturing methods.
Roper Boots made from the same leather used in Wicket & Craig's horse tack. This leather is made from vegetable-tanned cowhide leather with added oils and fats. At first, it is hard and feels hard to put your feet on, but as it warms up with the temperature of human skin and you wear it, you will get used to it, so you can fully appreciate the aging of the leather.
The sole is an "EVA sole" used for running shoes.
Rios boots do not contain cork; instead, they contain cloth. Therefore, it has good bounce, and combined with the softness of the sole, it is also attractive that it is very easy to walk on.
The decorative stitching on the shaft is inspired by a bird. The stitch colors are gradated to create shadows. The stitching on the shaft has a meaning: it reinforces the shaft so it doesn't fall down when you take it off, and it represents your affiliation, like a team color.
The good thing about Rios is the way the toes curve up. Even when it's new, it's a little warped, but the more you wear it, the more your toes will rise. It's cool, and above all, Rios' unique spring toe makes these boots easy to wear, comparable to sneakers, and easy to match, so you'll end up wearing them more often.
You'll understand if you wear it, and you won't know unless you wear it.
