W-Swing Top
I thought about what would happen if I made a swing top out of denim material, so I released it as a short blouson.
The denim used is made of Californian Sun Forkin cotton for the warp and sulfur-dyed gray thread for the weft.
The brushed surface of the material also gives it a sense of elegance, and we created it as a single piece so that you can wear it as if you were wearing it as a layer.
The denim is selvedge (with ears) and is woven slowly on old looms.
There are pleats on both sides of the back yoke, and straps on both sides of the waist. The metal fittings are the same as those used for trousers, and the collar is small, so we thought it would look stylish.
Even the denim blouson is sewn by a factory that sews suits, etc., and the stitching is very precise, using fine cotton thread.
Before mass production began, clothes were only sewn using regular sewing machines, so they were sewn with these fine stitches.
We designed it with thoughts of those times in mind.
