cliché is a cliché.
It was my fault for getting serious.
I just realized that I don't have a Ron T.
Hello.
This is Kinoshita from cliché.
It's been about 5 months since we opened, and we're really happy to have so many people visit us.
I am always grateful for your help.
Well, the project we've been talking about since before we opened is finally starting.
It's not about saying we've created a new tag for your store.
At first, I might think of a brand name, or I might try it as a guerrilla, mysterious masked brand...
I've thought about a lot of things, but I'll release it as an original for the store.
Sometimes there may be items other than clothes, so stay tuned for more.
Rather than trying to force myself to make something, I concentrate on what I want to wear whenever I have the idea.
I wonder if the vintage clothing collection that I've been building up for samples will finally catch on. .
Clothes you'll want to wear every season.
Clothes that can be worn for a long time. Just natural.
This is a product that makes something simple and good.
The only thing I would like to point out is that while keeping the basic premise,
Something that will give you ideas for your daily styling.
I strongly injected my wish that it would be in a somewhat interesting position.
Finally unveiled.
I can't stop grinning.

"BDU JACKET BLACK357 Kai"
Size: SM/ML
"GAS PROTECTIVE TROUSERS"
Size: OS
¥77,000 (TAX IN)
*Sold as a set of top and bottom.
BDU JACKET and pants will be released as a set.
Up until now, I had often proposed custom orders based on inspiration from old clothes I had worn personally, but I hadn't gotten around to it yet: a big-sized BDU.
These are the clothes I bought during the coronavirus pandemic and wore to death.
It was 100% cotton and flimsy, but I bought it in the middle of winter and wore it as an outer layer.
We thoroughly revised the points that would make us happy if the BDU were like this.
I kept thinking that I could wear it as a set, so I made it to match.
It's a hassle, so I'm selling a set.
Although they are part of the American military, their roots do not intersect with each other,
Please don't worry about that.
BDU JACKET (Battle Dress Uniform) is adopted by the US military,
A field jacket used by the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
It features four pockets on the front and is made of ripstop and various fabrics.
Featuring an elbow patch, cuff tabs at the sleeves, a petite collar and a shaped silhouette.
This is a simple jacket with unstylish features such as rough buttons.
There are many types such as solid color, camo pattern, and tribal, but the one I have is the black type.
Black is also available if it is a product made by an unknown company that is released for civilian use.
This time's motif is a BDU called "BLACK 357" that was only produced for one year in 1997.
It is said to be a rare model used by special forces and SWAT, but we don't know for sure. (There was also talk that the black monster hoodie looked like Pachimon...)
But I like the story of them being used as virtual enemy forces during military exercises.
357 doesn't come up when I search, but I wonder if it comes from "357 Magnum"?
This is the pistol used by Ryo Saeba from Lupine the Third and City Hunter.
"BLACK 357" is a cotton nylon ripstop material.
The armpits are shaped well and are relatively stylish.
Moreover, large sizes such as S-REGULAR and M-LONG are rarely available.
And I wanted to use it as a thin, cold, main outerwear.
The size is 3L, which is a super big size.
However, in order to stay within the framework, there should be no outlandish changes.
The material is crisp cotton twill material.
Although it has been washed once, it has a durable feel that allows it to stand on its own.
The material has a texture that will loosen up as you wear it, allowing you to enjoy its texture.
The buttons are daringly crude and have a good balance, without sacrificing the simple atmosphere.
The one I have is thin and flimsy, so when it comes to this size,
There is an unusual amount of accumulation in the sleeves, and instead of giving a sense of volume, the sleeves are large and fall down, which is stressful.
By making the fabric stiffer, this problem has been eliminated and the product maintains its rounded shape.
It's quite thick, so depending on how you wear your innerwear, it should be warm enough to last you through the middle of winter.
There's plenty of room to fit in, so you don't have to worry about it.
The armholes and width of the body are large enough, so you don't have to worry about the inner size.
The neck width is also wide, so it fits well with the hood.
This is a nice finish for someone like me who often wears turtlenecks and mock necks.
Personally, I like this blank space.
By the way.
A BDU jacket this big would probably be sold by some brand.
To be honest, I had been looking forward to it for several years, but now that I think about it,
Because of this number of work steps.
There are too many pockets, too many elbow patches, and too many stitches.
There are also 19 buttons. lol
The cost also increases accordingly.
On the other hand, there are many things that I am concerned about, such as changing the way things are done to reduce costs.
The reason why few places are making them seems to be "difficulty and cost".
I found what I was looking for, but it was made of synthetic fibers or had a strong design,
What I want is a jacket that is simple and has the power to pull things together.
It's not all about American casual or fashion, but it's compatible with all styles.
Rather than going in a weird direction with a motif, I wanted to reinterpret it in a good way.
The locking process on the back, the chain stitch of the rolled stitch, and the stitching running on the outside are also very beautiful.
It's hard to say that the item has an elegant pattern or quality, but from the perspective of something simple and good, it goes without saying.
The matching pants are modeled after American military pants, but are inspired by gas protective pants.
Most of them are from the 1960s, but they are made of cotton material and have easy specifications.
These are also simple easy pants with a drawcord at the hem.
It may be easier to understand that it is like a stripped-down version of snow pants.
I used to own a jacket, but I remember throwing it away because it was difficult to maintain due to the characteristics of the material and it smelled so bad.
These pants are for gas (poison, etc.), so they're meant to protect you.
It was made large enough to be worn on pants, and I'm sure it didn't even have pockets.
The material is cotton, but it's a little different and has a lining.
I mainly liked the silhouette, so I asked them to adjust the balance so it wasn't too thick.
These pants are easy to wear without lining.
Whether you tighten the hem or not, it's fine to wear it for now.
It's shiny and of good quality. As you wear it, the color will start to fade from around the double stitches on the side and it will start to tighten, making it an easier-to-wear item.
If you are not familiar with the size of the jacket, you may have trouble finding pants to match, so if you are having trouble, try wearing this.
So,
Setup sales. thank you.
As for the size, the jacket comes in two sizes, SM and ML.
Pants are one size.
I will introduce the size image of the jacket on Friday's styling blog.
The original base is 3L, so even though it is ML, it has a certain size feel.
It's also true that it doesn't feel too big when you try it on.
Even when I searched for used clothes, I couldn't find it.
Even if I could find it, I'd be itchy everywhere.
Just like cantate, the beauty of clothes is that they face clothes and redefine them.
Let me remind you once again, cliché means "cliché."
It's written on the tag
"a phrase or opinion that is overused and betray a lack of original thought."
is its explanation.
"a phrase or opinion that is overused and betrays a lack of original thought"
is what it means.
When I buy clothes, I measure my feelings about wanting to put them in this store.
What made you decide to buy it? That's it.
There are many processes involved in thinking something is good.
On the other hand, there are times when I just look at something and buy it.
But you'll have to pay for it, and 70,000 yen isn't cheap for these clothes either, so
That's good! Please buy it!
Oh, shit.
This is good, it will sell! thank you!
Also, shit.
In a positive way, I feel sorry for the people who make the clothes and the people who suggest them.
The current reality is that the people who convey the message are cutting corners when it comes to things that are created with 100% effort.
It's not what sells, it's what you want to sell.
That feeling is the most important thing for the creator, the buyer, and the salesperson.
There were so many people involved and the clothes looked that way even though they weren't bad.
I think this should never happen in our industry or in any other industry.
I wrote about it on my blog before, but there are still a lot of them.
It's really painful to think about this so often.
We're trying to be cool, but we're in the business of selling dreams.
When I was interviewed for a video with my senior,
In response to the question, “What is the meaning of being fashionable?”
"We connect with our customers through clothes in order to make them happy."
I remember him answering.
This is a simple word, but it has a lot of meaning, and I thought that only a serious person could answer it.
I came to Tokyo dreaming of working with clothes, and before I knew it, I was disappointed.
A cliché (French: cliché ) is a phrase, expression, or concept that has lost its intended power or novelty through abuse.
That's a common sense nuance.
Maybe it's a kind of antithesis.
But as long as we continue this work, we must never forget that feeling.
We created this product as a store filled with such feelings.
I hope it gets across.
Detailed details that cannot be conveyed, feelings that are difficult to convey.
Let's share the feeling that only the person who bought it can understand!
*cliché 0001 "BDU JACKET BLACK 357 Kai" and "GAS PROTECTIVE TROUSERS" will be on sale at stores and online stores from 12:00 on Saturday, October 29th.
