If only I had found the clothes I like now when I was a child.

もし子供の頃、今の好きな洋服に出会えていたら。

Genre called summer cashmere.

A story about how my life changed when I discovered glasses.

Your heart is also a one-wash tumbler.

A shirt that is constantly rotating.

This is the story of when I bought my first suit.

Hello.

This is Kinoshita from cliché .

I got my start in apparel as a university student.

Time flies, and it's been 9 years now.

Thankfully, I was able to gain experience as a buyer and store manager from an early stage, which has led me to where I am today.

Actually, I have never really thought about buying new brands.

This is because we have already stocked the best of each genre.

But of course the antenna is up.

Try digging up something related to your favorite brand,

I asked each shop's Instagram, friends, and colleagues in the same industry,

If you meet local seniors,

“Isn’t there something wrong with you?”

That's what I'm talking about, and I often draw lines.

Lately, I've started to go to stores and look at things properly.

As someone like me who doesn't like going directly to clothing stores, this is a huge improvement.

Nowadays, information comes in even if you don't have your antenna up.

Even if you don't intend to do it on SNS, you can see it in advertisements even if you don't like it.

looks good! But it's okay.

Always like that. (Aren't there too many brands?)

There is a reason, and although this is just our own bias, each brand we currently carry has a role.

Good at shirts, good at denim, good at oversize, tech style,

If you try to go to all genres, from American casual to fashion to street, etc., there are limits.

Due to the balance of the price range and the capacity, it may not be possible to put in that much.

In my opinion, I buy each product thinking that it is the best in a certain genre.

I give up if the images overlap or if I get the impression that they are similar.

Sometimes I just want to include it even though it looks similar, and I get cooed, but I just try to bear it.

It doesn't mean which one is good or bad, but

In my opinion, I can't surpass those brands.

Sentai items are red, blue, yellow, pink, and sometimes green, which cannot be replaced.

The theory is that everyone is different and everyone has a good style.

In cliche, there will be approximately 15 people in the squad.

But a new brand is joining the ranks.

Although it is positioned as American casual, there are many American casual brands.

In any case, wouldn't "cantate" be enough for that position?

That's what I thought, but I couldn't control my desire to put it in...

And the cut is super tricky.

Even though it's covered, it's completely different.

What is this, it's super interesting.

A somewhat nostalgic look that depicts a heartwarming atmosphere, like a photo of a family with many children.

A super fashionable MIKIHOUSE style that forces you to feel happy.

Of course, this look is typical of a real family.

The other day, when I looked at Look at the next exhibition, there was one more cute child.

There are some looks that parents are wearing.

There are many photos of children wearing them, and they are so large that it is hard to tell what they are.

It reminds me of that scene from the first episode of Detective Conan, with a baggy feeling.

Well, I'm captivated by the look and atmosphere,

The keyword is what these kids are wearing.

“Kids clothes”.

“KOOKY ZOO”

“GARMENT FOR ECCENTRIC”

Adding (or subtracting) various arrangements based on American vintage wear,

Our motto is to create unique clothing that you won't find anywhere else. ”

It may be strange to call it normal, but adult size clothes,

I usually design based on clothes that I own and wear.

In the case of KOOKY ZOO, the target is children's clothing.

It's a world view that has been given a big light, as you would call it in Doraemon.

It's similar to the feeling you get when you magnify kids' clothes with a magnifying glass.

This is not a size up, but a ``as is'' style.

Even if you try changing the size up to Levi's denim pants,

Just because you increase the size from a small size doesn't mean the stitch width or buttons will get bigger.

Normally, things grow while maintaining balance, but everything grows while staying at that scale.

Needless to say, the size balance is unique, and the stitch width is more than double,

The buttons will also be nearly twice as big.

I feel like my body has become smaller.

When you are surrounded by these clothes, it feels like you have wandered into that world line.

Nostalgic yet exciting, small and everything brand new.

You'll be able to go back to how you felt back then.

Now, the lineup.

This time I ordered:

・2nd type trucker jacket

・Westerner G Jean

・World War II Chore Court

・Ringer TEE

4 items based on these motifs.

The jacket alone makes a huge impact, so

Feel like matching it with your own denim pants.

At cliché, I would like to recommend it for use alone.

KOOKY ZOO

"JUVNILE DENIM JACKET"

BASE ITEM: 1960's Levi's 507BXX (KIDS)

☆NON WASH

¥46,200 (TAX IN)

Second type G jacket from the 1960s.

If you look for it, even kids' items will cost 50,600,000 yen.

To be honest, I wasn't interested in vintage items for kids, but

It's interesting to look into it. Each is still valuable and interesting.

I have the urge to dress my children when I have them, but if that's the case, I'd like to have one for myself. lol

It's cute just to keep it around, and it's fun to see how children's colors fade and swell.

As usual, front pockets, pleats on the placket,

The buttons, stitch width, and rolled stitches are all large.

The collar is also larger, giving it a more square and angular finish.

At first glance, it looks oddly proportioned, but when you put it on, it fits perfectly.

You can also expect puckering from this.

At first it gives a cute impression, so it gives off a mild American casual feel.

However, as it gets more and more finished, I'm already looking forward to seeing it change over time.

Stitching on the back tag visible from the back, rivets in various places,

The action pleats on the back are also crisp and impressive.

If you look closely, there are four buttons on the front, the spacing and size of which would be impossible for an adult.

Change the way you fasten the buttons.

Some kind of denim pants and boots.

It matches the theory.

KOOKY ZOO

"JUVENILE WESTERN JACKET"

BASE ITEM: 1960's Lee 110JB (KIDS)

☆ONE WASH

¥44,000 (TAX IN)

Next up is the Westerner jacket, another American casual staple.

The ECRU color creates an earthy yet masculine impression.

Since it is a western style, the collar has a distinctive pointy shape.

Compared to a denim jacket, it is shorter, falls down in the front, and has wider cuffs and hem.

Even if you look at the back, it is well built,

After starting cliché, I became more familiar with denim.

Another strong point of this brand is that the design is well-crafted.

Of course, the designer, Mr. Suzuki,

He has a history of working for a well-known denim brand.

The next collection also featured some amazingly processed items.

There is also a side of him that doesn't dare to talk about it vigorously, and talks about it in a modest way.

It looks like a masculine brand like this,

If I may say so, it's like Shibu Kaji that I've heard about.

I was scared to go to the exhibition because I imagined someone with a chain around his waist, long hair, a beard, and a red wing, but Mr. Suzuki gave me a very modest and classy impression.

Looking at the atmosphere of LOOK, it seems like it's family love.

You get the impression that you are reminiscing about happy memories from your childhood.

Mr. Suzuki is a person who excites us.

cantate "???" ¥???

The original story is a heavy-duty item, so the cap makes it a little sweeter.

But the pants are denim...

For some reason, Sugimura is wearing good denim. picture?

KOOKY ZOO

"JUVENILE CHORE COAT"

BASE ITEM: WW II CHORE COAT

☆NON WASH

¥48,400 (TAX IN)

Next up, the coveralls that caught my eye and didn't speak for themselves.

Inspired by the chore coat from the World War II era, the similarly enlarged look is a novelty finish.

As a whole, there are no rugged details such as triple stitching,

Double-stitched and simple, with a stripped-down texture that seems to be a reference to vintage store items.

The stitch width gives a strong impression, so the drawing ability is sufficient. lol

The ounce of fabric is different from the denim jacket mentioned above, and the color is lighter indigo.

When viewed from a distance, it looks grayish.

Although it is the framework of a jacket, it has a firm start, giving it a three-dimensional shape.

You can wear it like a coat, or pair it with a knit in the winter.

While adjusting the innerwear throughout the season, there is no doubt that he will be in the first team soon.

cantate "Regular Chino Trousers" ¥42,900 (TAX IN)

cantate "Shoulder Tote Bag" ¥66,000 (TAX IN)

Chino pants, military pants, denim.

The pants I styled this time were these three authentic pairs.

KOOKY ZOO is a good cushioning material for rustic and rustic combinations.

The approach from one step back is comfortable while giving off an American casual atmosphere.

KOOKY ZOO

"JUVENILE TRIM TEE"

BASE ITEM: 1970's TRIM TEE

¥13,200 (TAX IN)

Ringer TEE has been made since the beginning of the brand.

When I went to the exhibition, there was no line up.

I was disappointed, so I asked about it and was told that many wholesalers were eager to resell it.

GREEN is also available and re-released with only BLUE and RED.

This is my first time handling this product, so I'm happy to have it in this quantity.

I also like Ringer TEE and have GREEN,

Nice timing because I couldn't find anything good that had a print on it.

Still, the solid color and the width of the ribs are fresh and the finish is not too simple.

I ordered only size 2.

Both Kinoshita and Sugimura are wearing the same 2, but the shoulders are dropped just right,

The length is set short, so most people will fit this size.

It's cute even if you wear it tight and match it with flared denim.

He will become a great player who can play an active role both as an inner player and as a main player.

I don't remember what clothes I wore or how I felt when I was a child.

Looking back now, I wonder if I was wearing something like this? Even if I think back...

After all, I don't think I remember it at all. lol

When did I start feeling good about clothes?

When I was in elementary school, even if I didn't realize it, I admired my father and wore Levi's.

But the size didn't quite fit, so I stole it from my mother's closet.

I even got scolded for wearing Nikes to school, which were all over the place.

Back then, my favorite shoe was DUNK, I don't know why, but I think it was the shape and comfort.

I got addicted to it, and when I was in elementary school, my birthday present was Nike sneakers every time. About a month before my birthday, I would stare at my computer all the time.

Curiosity explodes! It's no different than now. nostalgic.

Then junior high school or high school?

In my case, it's like my father growing up.

I didn't have a cool culture like American casual or Urahara, but I was a gal guy.

I can't imagine how things have gone so far, but I've gone off track.

I had a rough time in middle school, and although I'm not a Yankee, I'm still young and full of energy.

With her hair up, her bangs are of course M-shaped.

Wearing denim pants with patches, ringer TEE with glitter,...

I guess it's the so-called SURF type, which is really embarrassing.

However, I sometimes think that I have those roots that have led me to where I am today.

Maybe I'm good at styling my hair? And,

Is your sense of color thanks to those flashy clothes? And.

Was this what it was?

When you look at it as an adult, your perspective changes and you can see it better.

Even back in time, when he was in elementary school, he didn't know if clothes that were made to wear him without knowing anything about it were fashionable.

However, from the act of being made to wear clothes at a young age, the act of choosing to wear them begins.

For children, the act of ``choosing to wear something'' means being fashionable.

When it comes to my memories of kindergarten, I don't remember the clothes I wore.

I don't even know if it's a root.

But when I look at KOOKY ZOO's clothes, I feel like I can remember them.

It's like a time machine.

If only I had found the clothes I like now when I was a child.

For example, like these denim jackets,

I wish I had been able to experience the genre of clothing that still exists today.

It's not possible in my family where my parents don't like vintage, but

But what if you wore Levi's when you were 3 or 4 years old?

Maybe what I'm doing now could be different.

The influence that clothes have is enormous.

Clothes that make you feel that way.

The worldview of KOOKY ZOO created by Mr. Suzuki, or the main character,

I was nostalgic and curious about myself back then.

If you pick up KOOKY ZOO with this in mind, you will enjoy it even more.

Once you put it on, you can be a child again.

Wear this and have fun outside.

I think it's allowed to some extent.

Because I feel like a child again.

Don't get caught.
