This is Kinoshita from cliché.

22AW is about to start already.

Stein will be available from 22AW.

I met Mr. Asakawa, the designer, about 4 years ago.I was a little nervous at first because he is tall, but when we actually talked to him, I was surprised and found that he is a very humble person.

He has a soft demeanor, and whenever I meet him, his clothes are all black.

The stein clothes made by Mr. Asakawa are fashionable, clean, have an urban feel, and are genreless.

The design is immediately noticeable at first glance, and I have to say that the drawing skills are strong.

However, I wonder how they came up with this idea...the multiple intricate details overlap, and it feels very natural.

Perhaps it's because of its cohesiveness, sense of unity, and unique worldview.

But sadly, I'm disappointed that I can't express it in words.

I can't read his thought process at all.

It's in my head, but I can't put it into words.

It's frustrating.

So, I'd like to apologize in advance for today's blog going in a direction that doesn't make sense.

I came to work today thinking I would write about stein's blog.

Oasis's "champagne supernova" immediately came to mind.

I like Oasis, but I haven't listened to them recently, so I have no connection to this blog. Should be.

But maybe there's a connection.

Why do you like that brand? Why did you start carrying it?

Honestly, I think each person should have their own reason.

When I started working for Mr. Matsushima, the outline of my vision became clear.

It's true that Stein is popular on the street, many people wear it, and it's a selling brand.

However, even though I don't own a lot of Stein clothes and have nothing to do with buying them, I've always been fascinated by them.

Even though I can't even put it into words. .

I like the inorganic atmosphere and nuances, so that makes sense.

Going back to the topic,

Champagene Supernova is a song that is characterized by the feeling of being addicted to alcohol or drugs and getting high.

Noel himself says he doesn't know the meaning of the song, but he keeps listening to it, and it's one of the songs that comes to mind when he thinks of Oasis. There are various theories, but it is said that the meaning changes depending on one's mood, such as powerlessness or human worth.

In the end, the meaning of the song is left to the listener, and there is no need to answer.

As long as you listen to it because you think it's good, that's fine, and there's no right or wrong answer because it's everyone's own interpretation.

To begin with, the fashion, clean, urban atmosphere, and genre-less style are just my imagination, so it's just up to the person who wears it to create their own imagination.

Basically, there is no brand that tells you how to wear this, so the person who owns it can style it however they want. But with stein, this is stronger and gives us even more freedom.

I think Mr. Asakawa doesn't have a fixed concept.

There are times when fixed ideas are good, and other times they become a hindrance.

Fashion is also a tool for finding freedom through clothes, while adhering to certain rules such as one's own personality and TPO.

For me, Kiichiro Asakawa is the person who taught me freedom.

Stein's clothes are free clothes that allow you to get high.

*Stein 22AW will be on sale at the online store from 12:00 tomorrow, June 18th (Sat).
